John Wooden is considered to be one of the most honored coach in all of the sports. He was the first basketball coach inducted into the "Basketball Hall of Fame" not just as a coach, but as a player as well. He was a mentor for some of the other famous coaches in his time, such as "Bill Walton". He also wrote many books over time about what he knew about sports and things that seemed to work best in the games. Giving others the knowledge he has learned over time in his career to improve the games for all players.

John Wooden has won more games than any other coach a total of 665 games over the 27 seasons at UCLA with ten NCAA titles over the past twelve years with seven in a row in 1967 through 1973. His team was undefeated in two national championship games which included an eighty eight wins in a row.

The games records he won in his career with UCLA basketball have still not been beat. To this day he continues to mentor players and teach them the values he learned throughout his life time. He continues to be considered as the "Greatest Coach Of All Time."
